Attention parents and guardians: registration for this summer’s AquaCamps at the Vancouver Aquarium is now open!

Last summer was a fantastic time for the Aquarium’s day camp program. With over 460 participants, we were brimming with budding biologists and animal enthusiasts. To continue reaching even more young minds this year we have made the following improvements to AquaCamps 2013:

New this year:

  • An extra week of camp – nine weeks this summer!
  • Full day camp for children entering kindergarten.
  • Extended care until 5:30 p.m. for only $25 per week.
  • Sleepovers! Campers entering grades 4-8 can choose to sleep beneath belugas on Thursday nights.*

AquaCampers will get connected with our incredible animals and the Aquarium’s staff, including biologists, veterinarians and aquarists who are dedicated to caring for them. AquaCamp’s qualified staff love learning while having fun, and are all first aid/CPR certified. Campers will search for shore crabs at the beach, visit animal experts and their friends behind the scenes, see the latest movie in the Goldcorp 4D theatre, pull plankton to view under microscopes, and learn how to reduce their carbon footprint through hands-on activities.

AquaCamps are not only a great way to learn abotu aquatic life, but they're a ton of fun as well.
