UPDATE: AFTER HOURS IS NOW SOLD OUT!

Scream-worthy fun, yep. Screaming kids, nope. Our signature adult’s only night out at the Aquarium is back, featuring things that go bump in the night. Join us for a frightening evening of fun under the sea at our next After Hours coming up October 29.

The evening will feature a variety of Halloween-themed programming, including the popular Snakes on a Stage show, a special appearance by Darth Vader at the Venomous Fishes dive show and guest presentation by Dr. Lance Barrett-Lennard, head of the Vancouver Aquarium Marine Mammal Research Program, most recently featured for his work with hexacopters and killer whales in the wild.

Explore our newly expanded spaces and galleries with a beer or glass of wine in-hand and learn about the spooktacular creatures that call the Aquarium home, from venomous fishes and jellies, to bats, bugs, snakes, scorpions and the interesting slime producing hagfish featured below.

If you are in the spirit, wear a costume and snap a photo of yourself in our galleries with the hash tag #AfterHours for a chance to win a free pair of tickets to our next event.  Prizes will be awarded for best costume, best group costume, and best aquatic themed costume – so get creative!

This event consistently sells out in advance, so be sure to purchase your ticket early to avoid disappointment. Tickets are available online until 5 p.m. October 29, or until sold out.
