Break out your boots and fall sweaters and warm up with a bowl (or several) of Ocean Wise chowder from coast to coast this November.

Back for the seventh year in a row, this popular event, which started in Vancouver in 2008, has now spread across Canada. This year we are excited to welcome Halifax as a new host location in addition to the popular Vancouver Aquarium Ocean Wise Chowder Chowdown events also held in Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver.

“We are excited to see our Ocean Wise Chowder Chowdown expand to become a truly national foodie event. Canadians from coast to coast can enjoy sustainable seafood chowders prepared by over 50 amazing Ocean Wise chefs and learn about sustainable seafood options year round,” said Ann-Marie Copping, Vancouver Aquarium Ocean Wise manager.
