Our annual Divers’ Weekend is back Jan. 16 and 17 at the Vancouver Marine Science Centre. This year, our 17th annual celebration of underwater exploration comes with a special focus on Canada’s Arctic with seminars and demonstrations that will inspire divers and non-divers alike.

Diving plays a critical role in the Vancouver Aquarium’s animal conservation and care work. As we continue to highlight the impact of climate change in Canada’s North, this year’s activities offer a glimpse of underwater environments in our own backyard and beyond.

Catch diving demonstrations by the Canadian Coast Guard and Royal Canadian Navy as well as exhibits from local diving clubs, organizations and businesses. We’ll also be bringing history to life with demonstration dives featuring a vintage hard hat dive suit.
