Many of the creatures at Vancouver Aquarium Marine Science Centre hatch their young in fascinating ways – from decorating dens, to holding offspring in their mouths, to sitting on eggs. This Easter, our eggs-perts are sharing these spectacular stories and invite you to join us for the Aquarium’s first-ever Easter Scavenger Hunt. Learn curious and captivating facts about the eggs of aquatic animals along the way.

Fun for the whole family, the Easter Scavenger Hunt begins at the Guest Services Desk where you’ll collect a trivia form. The clues will lead you on a journey through the Aquarium’s galleries, from the warmth of the Tropics to the cooler but oh-so-colourful B.C. Waters, in search of the hidden eggs. By learning the eggs-traordinary stories, you will use your newfound knowledge to solve the clues and uncover the secret word. Then return your completed trivia form to receive a chocolate treat (while supplies last) and enter to win one of three up-close-and-personal Animal Encounters with either curious penguins, majestic sea lions, or playful sea otters.

Vancouver Aquarium is extending its hours for even more Easter weekend fun. From Friday, April 14 to Monday, April 17, visitors can participate in the Easter Scavenger Hunt as well as enjoy additional programs, shows, and screenings of the new Coastal Predators 4-D experience from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

Have an egg-cellent Easter!
